Cam Gimbrère is an emerging artist based in Boston, MA, currently finishing their final year studying Studio Art at Kenyon College. Cam’s work is often deeply tied to place and the trace that landscape can leave on us long after parting. Informed by family history and fascinated in collective somatic knowledge, the body is often central material. Coming from a poetic background and lineage, the written word may tend to be a point of departure. Cam has exhibited domestically, as well as internationally at the Burren College of Art, where they spent transformative time.
